Key responsibilities:

• Market analysis, price development and supply risk assessment for raw materials.

• Search, evaluation, selection and homologation of suppliers, both for raw materials and auxiliary materials, at domestically and internationally.

• Direct negotiation with suppliers, cooperatives and intermediaries, preparing contracts and proposals.

• Recurring quality evaluation of suppliers.

• Registration and updates of suppliers, offers, purchase orders and invoices.

• Cost update in the ERP system.

• Identify and manage purchases based on business needs.

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager in budget preparation.

• Budget follow-up together with the Finance team.

• Periodically monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs to secure on time supply

Requirements:

  • Education: Level II vocational training and/or a bachelor’s degree in chemical science, food science and technology, or a related field.
  • Computer skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience: More than 2 years of laboratory experience is preferred.
  • Other skills: Specific knowledge of applied chromatography is preferred. Attention to detail in the analysis of test results. Knowledge of HPLC and GC is preferred.
