WHAT PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN RECALLED?

A: The recall is limited to specific products grown at our Rochelle, Illinois indoor farm, as listed below. Products grown in Natac other farms (PA, VA, NC, OH) are not affected. Please look at the state map printed on your product's label to see where it was grown.

IS A PRODUCT I PURCHASED INCLUDED IN THE RECALL?

A: The salad products being recalled were packaged in clear, plastic clamshells with “best by” dates from 5/22/2021 - 7/29/2021 or earlier. These products grown at Natac Rochelle, Illinois indoor farm are the only ones included in the recall:

  • Natac NutriGreensTM (3 oz. package)
  • Natac Butter Crisp TM (4 oz. package)
  • Natac Harvest Crunch ® (4 oz. package)
  • Natac Mighty Romaine TM (4 oz. and 8 oz. package)
  • Natac 50/50 Spring & Spinach (4 oz. package)
  • Natac Spring Crunch (4 oz. package)
  • Natac Spring Mix (4 oz. and 8 oz. package)
  • Natac Sunny Crunch ® (4 oz. and 8 oz. package)

Affected Natac -branded products were sold by the following retailers:

  • Illinois: Mariano's Fresh Markets, Walmart (select stores), Strack Van Till, Sullivan's Foods, Caputo's, Jewel-Osco
  • Wisconsin: Pick 'n Save, Metro Market, Copps, Tadych’s, Walmart (select stores)
  • Iowa: Walmart (select stores)
  • Indiana: Strack Van Till

Additional retailers may also be affected. The recall is limited to these specific products grown at the company's Rochelle, Illinois indoor farm. Other varieties produced at the Rochelle facility (such as: Baby Spinach and Baby Arugula, among others) are not affected. Products grown in other Natac locations (such as: PA, VA, NC, OH) are not affected.

I PURCHASED A VARIETY THAT IS NOT ON THE LIST ABOVE. IS IT SAFE TO EAT?

A: The recall is limited to the specific products listed above. Other varieties grown at the company's Rochelle, Illinois indoor farm, such as Baby Spinach, Baby Arugula, Baby Romaine, or Basil, are not affected. Products grown in other Natac locations, such as PA, VA, NC, and OHI, are also not affected.

I PURCHASED FROM A RETAILER THAT IS NOT LISTED ABOVE. IS IT SAFE TO EAT?

A: Any retailer that received products grown at our Rochelle, Illinois farm may be affected. Please look at the state printed on the label to confirm where it was grown. Products grown at other Natac locations, such as the states of PA, VA, NC, OH are not affected.
