Natac’s revenues increased 70% in the first half of the year to almost 20 M€

Natac Group (NAT), a biotechnology company specialized in the sustainable production of botanical extracts and omega-3 oils with proven health benefits, has closed the first half of the year with record figures, after multiplying its main financial indicators.

During the first six months of the year, Natac posted revenues of 19.6 million euros, an increase of 70% compared to the same period last year, while its EBITDA exceeded 6.8 million in the first half of 2024.

Product sales contributed the bulk of the group’s revenues, more than 19 million euros, and it is expected that the recent start-up of the omega-3 plant in As Somozas, the largest in Spain, will begin to make a significant contribution to increasing the group’s turnover.

The first-half results are the result of the company’s expansion strategy, which has enabled it to increase its presence in key markets and incorporate new customers in strategic countries. All business segments have recorded a solid performance from January to June, with the animal nutrition division, which grew by 202%, standing out.

For Antonio Delgado, CEO of Natac Group, “the figures for the first six months of the year reflect the strength of Natac’s business model, based on operational efficiency and excellent customer service, and our global leadership position in the natural ingredients sector thanks to an ambitious and differential strategic plan. In addition, the results achieved allow us to reiterate our commitments to shareholders, with a turnover target for this year of around 40 million and EBITDA of 14 million, which would represent a growth of more than 50% compared to 2023”.

Looking ahead to the last quarter of the year, Natac will continue with the geographical expansion of its business in new regions, such as Latin America or the United Kingdom, and will strengthen its presence in the markets where it is already present by constantly updating its product portfolio.
