Since it founding in 2010, research and innovation have been the fundamental pillars of Natac. Our motto, “Natac Science to Market,” perfectly reflects our commitment, as well as our vision, mission and corporate values, which guide each of our developments.
About our projects
At Natac, we have directed and participated in more than 45 R&D projects, both nationally and internationally. Featured among them are 12 European projects, such as AQUOLIVE, financed by the SME Instrument program, which provides support for the most innovative businesses in Europe; OLEAF4VALUE, which has been key in developing the dynamic biorefinery concept; and SUSTAINEXT, a pioneering project within the HORIZON-JU-CBE Flagship category, which finances large demonstrative initiatives. SUSTAINEXT is the first project in this category to receive 100% financing in Spain since the start of the program in 2014.
Our commitment to open innovation has led us to cooperate with more than 100 public and private institutions within the European circular bioeconomy ecosystem, consolidating us as a reference in the sector.
Featured projects
The company NATAC BIOTECH, S.L.U. is the holder of file CC-0665-P11, the investment in which has been subsidized by the Regional Incentives aid line. Said assistance has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The aim of this procedure is the installation consisting of a plant for the extraction and purification of bioactive compounds of plant origin, located in the municipality of Hervás, in the province of Cáceres.
