Studies with AQUOLIVE® have shown that improved fish health contributes to production performance, animal welfare and improved meat quality.
In a study in Atlantic salmon*, the incorporation of AQUOLIVE in the diet was associated with improved immunological parameters and superior adaptation to typical growth phase challenges, such as dietary fluctuations, changes in water temperature or exposure to pathogens.
In addition, the results revealed positive effects on key indicators of animal welfare, together with a significant improvement in intestinal integrity, oxidative balance and lipid metabolism of farmed fish.
